Liverpool is one of the most vibrant and safest cities in the world, but as in any large, busy city, crime can sometimes occur. To make your visit safer and more enjoyable:
Secure your vehicle and don’t leave anything on display. Even if it seems of little value to you, such as a coat or small change.
If you have a sat nav system, take it with you, wipe any visible marks on your windscreen and place the holder and wiring in the boot. Be aware and check that no-one is watching you.
When using cashpoints, go in daylight, and avoid getting cash out alone if you’ve been drinking. Look around before inserting your card and only take out what you need. Always shield your pin number with your other hand when entering.
Avoid texting and talking on your mobile in crowded areas.
Don’t leave your wallet, mobile or bags unattended.
Report any suspicious bags or activity to the police or security.
