The guys in Tripper are delighted to be playing the festival and we hope you give them a warm welcome.
A quick note from Tripper:
Hello everyone! Well, we’re looking forward to this year as always. Liverpool is a home from home for us! Last monthwe were down for Beatle Day at the Cavern, and for our friend Bob Young’s daughter’s wedding at the Hard Day’s Night Hotel – another fab time for the memory scrapbook.
I have to say that the journey home with Ian Murdoch (Ringer) was one of the greatest joys of the trip.We sang and played air drums and guitar to all the Beatle songs. . . and it just made us realise
why we love them so much!
The Beatles have given us all a greatdeal over the years and we are so grateful to share this magical extra-lo-o-o-ong weekend withyou.
Have a wonderful FESTIVAL everyone! Love Tripper

fearsome, restless musical imagination.’ - FRANCIS JONES – BBC
It’s been a busy eighteen months for Belfast singer, songwriter, guitarist Ciaran Gribbin (aka JOE ECHO) since deciding to move on from his band Leya and into a solo career. As a prolific writer with an ever expanding catalogue of songs Joe Echo set out in 2008 to perform this new material live in preparation for the recording of his first solo album and he’s had a magnificent year supporting amongst others, The Script, Powderfinger and James Morrison.
In the last few months especially, Joe has seen success on a number of levels and his partnership with dance producer Paul Oakenfold has seen him rise up the charts. Joe is featured vocalist on two songs on Paul’s forthcoming album. The remix of his song ‘On All My Sundays’ is featured on Oakenfolds new album ‘Perfecto: Vegas’ which has gone straight in at Number One in the USA digital download chart and 66 on the main Billboard chart.
Another highlight of Joe’s career has seen him work with the queen of pop, Madonna.
Joe was involved in writing and producing the Madonna’s latest single “Celebration”, the first to be released from her greatest hits album. This has opened many doors for Joe and has seen him team up with Andy Cato and Tom Findlay of Groove Armada and also two other of the worlds top DJ/producers Armin Van Buuren and Deadmau5 amongst others.
In Ireland, Joe is rapidly gaining interest from many of the nations stars. Snow Patrols Gary Lightbody is a fan and is quoted saying “Ciaran (Joe Echo) has one of the most extraordinary voices I’ve heard in a long time” . Lightbody was so impressed by Joe that he invitied him to sing backing vocals on four tracks of Snow Patrol’s album ‘Eyes Open’.
