For thousands of children and adults with leukaemia, their only hope of survival is a donation of healthy stem cells. But they can’t take a donation from just anybody- it has to be from a person who’s a match
Six children a year from the Alder Hey Childrens’s Hospital in Liverpool aren’t able to have a sibling match. They need to find a match from someone outside their families.
YOU COULD BE A LIFESAVING MATCH
If you are, your donation of stem cells can save a life through a simple process that doesn’t take long or hurt very much. But first you need to be tissue-typed to see if you’re a match.
Come along to our recruitment event, complete a simple application form and give us a sample of your saliva to be tested.
Liverpool Town Hall 29th & 30th August 11am – 2pm
Aged 18 – 40 , weigh over 8 stone and in good health? Go on, give a saliva sample and join the Anthony Nolan Register today.
